Emily Klein CD(DONA) is a certified birth doula through DONA International. She has been practicing as a birth doula since October of 2014 and is now happy to also be offering support as a postpartum doula.
Emily’s passion for labor support began when she was 16 years old and was present for the birth of her sister. Through reading, research, and personal experience she learned how important it is for a laboring woman to have continuous labor support, which inspired her to train as a doula.
As a doula, Emily does all that she can to make sure that each mama and support person feels calm, informed, and empowered. Every birth is different, and Emily takes pride in her ability to alter her support based on what each individual desires and needs.
Emily lives in Lake Mills, Wisconsin with her husband and three beautiful children. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies and Spanish from the University of Wisconsin La Crosse. She worked for several years in management before deciding to become a full time Doula.
